For moderate recreational cruising. This value priced inflatable PFD is the most popular model for recreational cruisers. It provides automatic primary inflation, so in the event you become unconscious in a fall overboard, this PFD automatically inflates. For special occasions, should the wearer of a Pro Sail 33 DX prefer that it not inflate automatically, a manual override option is provided. For inspection of the inflation system on this model, the wearer is required to open the Velcro closure of the outer shell for 3 – point visual inspection which includes removing and reinstalling the CO2 cylinder.
